Operations Manager appointed – Alison Branston

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Branston as Trinity’s new Operations Manager.

This role is a new senior role within the organisation that will allow us to grow and develop the college in new ways. We are shifting around the way our senior management structure works to facilitate this.

The Ops Manager role is a significant role that will be pivotal in helping shape the culture of the college, particularly within the staff team. She will oversee facilities management, Events & Conferences, Catering & hospitality, and some others including the line management of various staff members within those areas.

Alison has already started this role on Sept 1st but there will be a transition period where she will continue to carry out the responsibilities of Admissions Officer while we go through the process of appointing a suitable replacement.

Malcolm Bourne who has been the head of Property & Facilities for several years will continue to work with us but will be reducing his hours to part-time and will be focusing on our plans to develop new student accommodation on-site.

In Alison’s own words:

This role lets me use the knowledge and skills I’ve gained in my previous management roles to help with the day to day operations of the college and to continue to build and support the existing team. I know this community and the culture well so I’m excited to help deliver the College’s vision to ‘live like the Kingdom is near’.

As someone who already knows Trinity and has relationships with our staff team we are excited to see how God will use Alison in this role and we pray for her as she adjusts to a new rhythm of work.
